Kendu and
Arcadia Group

Saving installation and assembly tools thanks to the Smartframe system

The challenge

The British group Arcadia, in particular Dorothy Perkins and Miss Selfridge, was looking to install window lightboxes in a multi-store roll out as effectively as possible while also needing them to adapt to different store’s structural particularities.

The solution

Kendu produced and distributed 70 lightboxes, primarily in standardised sizes, which were delivered flat packed thanks to the Smartclip system. This allowed a quick and easy assembly of the frames without needing any specialised tradesmen in-store. Additionally, for the flagship stores, Kendu added customised features such as a plinth made with the same materials as the one that was already installed for continuity.

The result

Both brands obtained a fresh and clean eye-catching shop windows and, above all, a solution that was installed by their own Visual Merchandising team thanks to the Smartclip system and the installation instructions attached to the light boxes with every detail. Due to the delivery in Smartframe Kit, the company also took advantage of the additional savings in transportation.
