Elevating the store’s presence

Uniqlo, the renowned high quality casual wear brand, teamed up with Kendu to revamp their iconic 5th Ave Flagship location in New York City. The multilevel store required an eye catching makeover to sync with its seasonal shifts and overarching concept as well as attract attention from shoppers walking past along the street.

The Solution

Following an initial concept walkthrough with Uniqlo, the focus landed on spaces with maximum visibility: the store windows and endcaps spanning all three levels. Leveraging the in house graphic design and pre press services, Kendu adapted files for Smartframe lightboxes throughout the store and the end caps. The integration of both Smartframe lightboxes and graphics frames ensured Uniqlo’s vivid campaigns popped for all shoppers inside of the store.

For the store windows, Kendu manufactured Smartframe lightboxes with a custom hanging system. Spanning all three levels of the facade the lightboxes. The lightboxes elevated the store’s presence at street level and beyond, elevating the vibrant visuals that Uniqlo is known for along the iconic 5th Avenue.

With Uniqlo’s dedicated Account Manager at Kendu overseeing internal management, processes such as order placement, delivery, and installation flowed seamlessly. The project is a testament to Kendu’s commitment to effective campaign management, providing a comprehensive, one stop shop based on design, execution and management.
