The winners of the annual Ramón Sayans Awards presented by FESPA Spain, were announced during the AGM held on March 27th. Kendu was once again honoured as a winning entry, this year as “Best Digitally Printed Visual Communication with a Flexible Support”.
The judging panel were impressed by the anaglyph effect achieved by Kendu’s Digital Design and Printing Departments using the dynamic display, Flowbox. The entry, “Double or Nothing”, seemingly changes between different printed images thanks to overlaid graphics, a two-colour printing palette and the lighting effects of Flowbox. The final result is an eye-catching image that evolves and changes despite being digitally printed, a testament to Kendu’s creative prowess.
The judges stated that the project was crowned a winner "thanks to the excellent combination of effects achieved via the lighting and the printed visual which results in two completely different images being seen".
