ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT

Kendu is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our team in Miami. Reporting to Accounting Manager and Managing Director, you will be responsible for administration activities and assisting Corporate Accounting as required.

 

The ideal candidate is a dynamic communicator, with the ability to represent Kendu in a professional and friendly manner. Time management, flexibility, excellent organization skills, and the ability to work in a team environment as a motivated self-starter are all crucial for success in the position.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform high volume and accurate data entry
  • Create and send invoices
  • Debt Collection
  • Register Purchase Orders and supplier invoices
  • Petty-cash reconciliation
  • Credit card reconciliation
  • Payment Processing
  • Archive company documentation
  • Administrative duties, including filing, copying and handling other similar tasks
  • Assisting with projects as assigned
  • Support to Finance team 

 

The successful applicant:

  • Must be proficient in computerized billing, receivable, collection and account systems and software
  • Must be a self starter with the ability to organize and coordinate large workloads in a timely and effective manner
  • Proficient with Excel, Mac platforms and Office 365
  • Able to work in fast pace environment
  • Extremely detail oriented
  • Able to multitask
  • Proactive individual that initiates tasks
  • Fast learner with a willingness to learn more
  • Work well in team environment

 

Experience And Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or related business discipline preferred
  • Knowledge of Dynamics NAV an advantage
  • 1 year related working experience
  • Positive and pro-active attitude with the ability to adapt to change
