Many consumers are changing or have changed their shopping habits and lifestyle to incorporate more sustainable practices. While big brands and manufactures have been driven to facilitate a more ethical consumption and improve their social and environmental responsibility policies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-medium-font-size\" style=\"color:#626262\">According to the European Commission, 9 million tons of food are wasted each year with 10% due to confusion around the meaning of the expiration date. With the intention of raising awareness of how to \u201cread\u201d critical data about food expiration, <em>Too Good To Go<\/em>, together with 17 other companies, has launched the campaign &#8220;Dates with Meaning: Look, Smell, Try&#8221;. Customers place orders through the brand&#8217;s website or App while the dark store\u2019s employees oversee orders and sends them in record time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-medium-font-size\" style=\"color:#626262\">Although the food and large distribution industries are leading this international phenomenon, it\u2019s expected to make an impact in the retail sector this year.
